SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Jan. 3, 2017) – Come sail away with Styx when the iconic rock band performs at Talking Stick Resort’s Ballroom on Sunday, January 15 at 8 p.m.

Originally formed in 1972, Styx began to gain national acclaim in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Its 1977 album, The Great Illusion, is widely considered to be its breakthrough effort, reaching triple platinum certification and spawning the top-10 hit “Come Sail Away.” The band’s follow-up effort, Pieces of Eight, featured two top-40 hits in “Renegade” and “Blue Collar Man (Long Nights),” as well as the hit record “Sing for the Day.” From 1977 to 1981, the band released four straight albums that all were certified multiplatinum, selling at least 2 million units each.
