Step inside Talking Stick Resort and you will find more than luxury. Hidden within its walls is one of the largest collections of contemporary Native American art outside of a museum.
At the heart of it all is the Cultural Center, quietly waiting in the resort lobby. Encased in glass, it feels like a time capsule, holding treasures of the Pima and Maricopa peoples: pottery, jewelry, and even the original talking stick that inspired the resort’s name.
Much of this priceless collection was created by members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, whose ancestry and traditions are reflected in every piece.
The Cultural Center is more than an exhibit. It is a bridge between past and present, offering guests a glimpse into stories that have been preserved for generations.
